Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City, Kuala LumpurGenetic counselling helps you understand inherited health conditions and assess your risk for certain diseases. This service is ideal if you're concerned about family health history, planning a pregnancy, or want to better understand genetic test results. Your session includes a one-on-one consultation with an experienced genetic counsellor at Sunway Medical Centre. During this personalised appointment, the counsellor will review your family medical history, discuss any concerns you have, and help you interpret what genetic factors might mean for your health. They'll explain complex genetic information in clear terms and guide you through options for testing or screening if appropriate. Beyond the medical information, your counsellor provides emotional support and helps you process what this knowledge means for you and your family. This is a space to ask questions, address concerns, and make informed decisions about managing your health going forward.

This package is valid for International Patients only.
Prices are subject to taxes and may change without prior notice.
Prices are based on per person basis, in Malaysian currency (RM).
Upon completion of payment, cancellations are not permitted. However, we do accommodate rescheduling requests.
Confirmed orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Only applicable to individuals aged 18 and above.
The genetic counselling session is available by appointment only.
Appointment booking must be made 7 days in advance.
Slots are available Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and on Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00. Please note that screenings are not available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
