Question 1

What are medical packages and what do they include?

Accepted Answer

Medical packages are bundled healthcare services offered at a fixed price by hospitals. They typically include consultations, medical procedures, diagnostic tests, hospital stay (if required), medications, and sometimes post-care follow-ups. Packages are available for various treatments including health checkups, cosmetic surgery, dental procedures, fertility treatments, cardiac care, and orthopedic surgeries.

Question 2

How do I choose the right medical package for my needs?

Accepted Answer

Consider these factors: 1) Package inclusions - ensure all necessary services are covered, 2) Hospital reputation and accreditations (JCI preferred), 3) Doctor expertise for the specific procedure, 4) Total cost including hidden fees, 5) Recovery time and follow-up care, 6) Patient reviews and success rates. Medifly allows you to compare packages side-by-side and chat with our AI assistant for personalized recommendations.

Question 3

Are medical packages cheaper than paying separately for each service?

Accepted Answer

Yes, medical packages typically offer 10-30% savings compared to paying for individual services. Hospitals bundle services at discounted rates to attract medical tourists. Additionally, packages provide price transparency - you know the total cost upfront, avoiding surprise bills. Some packages also include extras like airport transfers, accommodation, and translator services.

Question 4

What types of medical packages are available on Medifly?

Accepted Answer

Medifly offers a wide range of packages including: Health Checkup Packages (executive, comprehensive, cancer screening), Cosmetic Surgery Packages (rhinoplasty, facelift, liposuction), Dental Packages (implants, veneers, full mouth restoration), Fertility Packages (IVF, egg freezing), Cardiac Packages (angioplasty, bypass surgery), Orthopedic Packages (knee/hip replacement), and Wellness Packages (detox, anti-aging treatments).

Question 5

Can I customize a medical package or add additional services?

Accepted Answer

Most hospitals offer flexibility to customize packages based on your specific needs. You can often add extra consultations, extended hospital stay, additional tests, or premium room upgrades. Contact the hospital through Medifly to discuss customization options. Our team can also help negotiate package modifications based on your requirements.

Question 6

What happens if I need additional treatment not covered in the package?

Accepted Answer

If additional treatment is needed during your visit, the hospital will inform you of the extra costs before proceeding. This is why it's important to have a pre-consultation where doctors assess your condition thoroughly. Many packages include a buffer for minor additional needs. For significant changes, you'll receive a revised cost estimate that you can review before agreeing to proceed.
