Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City, Kuala LumpurHereditary Cancer Genetic Testing Package is designed for individuals and families who want to better understand whether cancer risk may run in the family. This genetic test looks for inherited gene changes that may increase the risk of certain cancers, such as breast, ovarian, colorectal, prostate, and other hereditary cancers. This package does not diagnose cancer. Instead, it helps identify whether a person may have an inherited cancer risk, so doctors can recommend suitable next steps such as earlier screening, more frequent monitoring, preventive strategies, or family risk assessment. Genetic counselling is an important part of the process to help patients understand what the test can and cannot tell them. Available at Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, this package is suitable for international patients who have a family history of cancer, cancer diagnosed at a young age in the family, multiple relatives with related cancers, or concerns about inherited cancer risk.

This package is valid for International Patients only.
Prices are subject to 6% Sales & Service Tax (SST) and may change without prior notice.
Prices are based on per person basis, in Malaysian currency (RM).
Upon completion of payment, cancellations are not permitted. However, we do accommodate rescheduling requests provided date fall within the campaign period.
Confirmed orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Prices are valid until 31 December 2026.
The purchased package must be utilised by 31 December 2026, including both appointment booking and completion of services.
The genetic test is available by appointment only, and bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance.
The package includes pre-test and post-test genetic counselling, conducted by experienced genetic counsellors.
Only applicable for individuals aged 18 years and above.
The turnaround time is approximately 25 working days.
Screening slots are available Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 and for Saturday is by appointment only. Please note that screenings are not available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Travelers are responsible for independently securing their own visas.
