Health Screening Doctor Package (Value Man)
Men's Health Screening
This health screening package is designed for men who want a comprehensive overview of their general health and early detection of common conditions like diabetes and heart disease. It's particularly useful if you're monitoring your overall wellness or haven't had a check-up in a while. Your appointment begins with a consultation where your doctor will take your medical history and conduct a physical examination. The package includes essential measurements like height, weight, blood pressure, and body composition analysis, along with vision testing. You'll also receive an ECG to assess your heart health and a chest X-ray. Blood tests cover a full blood count, diabetes screening including glycated haemoglobin for long-term blood sugar monitoring, and blood group typing. You'll need to fast for 8-10 hours before your appointment, though you can drink plain water. It's also recommended to avoid smoking and alcohol for at least 8 hours beforehand. If you take regular medications, you may need to postpone them until after your blood work, with the exception of blood pressure medication—but check with your doctor first to be sure.
