Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City, Kuala LumpurEndoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG) is a non-surgical, minimally invasive weight loss procedure in Malaysia for individuals who want to manage obesity without external incisions. Performed endoscopically, ESG reduces stomach volume using internal sutures, helping patients feel full earlier and for a longer period of time. By reducing stomach capacity, ESG can support patients in eating less naturally and achieving sustainable weight loss when combined with lifestyle, nutrition, and medical guidance. On average, patients may lose up to 17% of their total body weight within the first year after the procedure, depending on individual condition, adherence to lifestyle changes, and medical follow-up. At Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, ESG is delivered through a multidisciplinary weight management programme led by Dr Yong Karl King, Consultant in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Endoscopic Bariatrics. Patients receive support from a team that may include dietitians, endocrinologists, and clinical psychologists to help improve long-term weight management outcomes.

Prices are subject to 6% Sales & Service Tax (SST) and may change without prior notice.
Eligibility is subject to the attending doctor’s clinical discretion.
Includes a 2-day, 1-night ward admission (applicable to 4-bedded room types only).
Excludes take-home medication, any items not relevant to ESG, follow-up consultations, and any charges arising from complications.
Applicable to self-paying patients only. Not applicable for insurance claims or insurance pay-and-claim arrangements.
A full deposit of RM30,000 is required prior to or upon admission.
Prices are based on per person basis, in Malaysian currency (RM).
Upon completion of payment, cancellations are not permitted. However, we do accommodate rescheduling requests provided date fall within the campaign period.
Confirmed orders are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Prices are valid until 31 December 2026.
The purchased package must be utilised within 3-month, including both appointment booking and completion of services.
Appointment booking must be made 7 days in advance.
Screening slots are available Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 only. Please note that screenings are not available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Travelers are responsible for independently securing their own visas.
