Dr. Zubin Othman Bin Ibrahim

Dr. Zubin Othman Bin Ibrahim is a Consultant Physician & Cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology, general cardiology, and cardiovascular medicine. His practice focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of cardiovascular conditions, with particular expertise in coronary artery disease and interventional cardiac procedures. His areas of expertise include coronary artery disease, ischaemic heart disease, heart attack, angina, heart failure, hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, bradycardia, heart block, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, aortic stenosis, mitral valve disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral arterial disease, chest pain, palpitations, and syncope. Dr. Zubin provides comprehensive cardiology assessment and interventional services, including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary angioplasty, coronary stenting, and cardiac catheterisation. His diagnostic services include cardiac imaging, electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring. He also provides arrhythmia assessment, cardiovascular risk assessment, and ongoing management of heart failure, hypertension, and lipid disorders, as well as preoperative cardiac assessment. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and completed his Master of Medicine (MMed) at the University of Malaya (UM). He is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (FSCAI), United States, and a Fellow of the National Heart Association of Malaysia (FNHAM). He also completed Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology in New Zealand.
