Dr. Sim See Khim

Dr. Sim See Khim is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with expertise in interventional radiology, vascular intervention, image-guided procedures, and minimally invasive treatments. Her practice focuses on the use of advanced imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular, oncological, and other medical conditions through targeted, minimally invasive approaches. Her areas of clinical interest include cerebral aneurysms, stroke and cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, deep vein thrombosis, vascular malformations, and other vascular disorders. She also provides interventional management for conditions involving the liver, kidneys, biliary system, and reproductive organs, including liver and kidney tumours, uterine fibroids, biliary disorders, abscesses, and cancer-related vascular conditions. Dr. Sim performs a range of image-guided procedures, including angiography, embolisation, thrombectomy, angioplasty, vascular stenting, aneurysm treatment, and tumour embolisation. She also provides image-guided biopsy and drainage procedures, radiofrequency ablation, central venous access, biliary intervention, nephrostomy, and other percutaneous treatments. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST), Malaysia, followed by a Master of Radiology (MRAD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). She also holds the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) qualification and has completed fellowships in Interventional Radiology in Italy and with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Malaysia.
