Dr Sharon Foo Anqi

Dr Sharon Foo Anqi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a subspecialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Thomson Medical. She specializes in the management of high-risk pregnancies, maternal medicine, operative obstetrics, and comprehensive peripartum care. Taking a holistic and patient-centred approach, she works closely with expectant mothers to optimize their medical conditions throughout pregnancy while supporting individualized birth plans, including vaginal delivery, caesarean section, and vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC). In addition to obstetric care, she manages a range of gynaecological conditions affecting fertility and women's reproductive health, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts. Dr Foo graduated from University College London in 2009 before obtaining her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), United Kingdom, in 2016. Prior to joining Thomson Medical, she served as a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Singapore. Beyond clinical practice, she is actively involved in multidisciplinary simulation training for obstetric emergencies, mentoring medical students and junior doctors, and leading instrumental delivery workshops. She is also passionate about Global Health, participating in medical mission programmes in Cambodia and contributing to healthcare education, maternal health research, and initiatives aimed at improving maternal and neonatal outcomes for underserved communities.
