Dr. John Wang

Dr. John Wang is a vascular and general surgeon with extensive experience in both open and minimally invasive vascular procedures. He is currently practicing at Farrer Park Hospital, where he focuses on vascular and endovascular surgery, utilizing the latest advancements in minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Wang is experienced in managing complex vascular conditions, including aortic diseases and occlusive disorders, and is committed to delivering cutting-edge care aligned with global best practices. Prior to his current role, he served as a Senior Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital, where he practiced the full spectrum of vascular and endovascular surgery for five years. Before returning to Singapore, he was an Attending Vascular Surgeon at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, United States, for five years. During his time there, he also held key academic leadership roles, including Associate Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Program Director for the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency. Dr. Wang graduated with honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy and Anthropology at the National University of Ireland. He underwent General Surgery Residency training followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He is double board-certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wang has published extensively in leading international journals and has received multiple prestigious awards recognizing his contributions to research and education.
